Volunteerism and community building through shared experiences are at the heart of the folk school tradition.
We are grateful to all the volunteers who have helped bring the Joshua Tree Folk School to life and look forward to growing our circle of friends for years to come.
There are a number of ways for you to become part of the JTFS community. Some of our volunteering opportunities include assisting us with:
- Campus renovations and improvements
- School grounds beautification – gardening and landscaping
- Community outreach
- Filming and editing online classes
- Monthly Open House preparations – start date tba
- Class set-up and clean-up – start date tba
